How long do results take for cbc test and liver and kidney and heart function test to come back?

Testing time: Time to do the tests is about an hour. However, when you take into account the time it takes the blood to get to the lab and the paper work associated with it, about 4 hours is a reasonable turn around time. How long it takes your doctor to inform you of the results is variable.
