A member asked:

I'm getting severe migraines 2-3x a week. with auras, nausea, sensitivity to light everything. they don't respond to fioricet, (acetaminophen butalbital and caffeine) immitrex, or otc meds?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neurologist: With frequent severe headaches that do not respond to the usual first treatments you should be seeing a neurologist. There are still several other types of medications that can be used to treat and prevent migraines that you could try.
