I went to the era yesterday and they said i had a uti and gave me antibiotics does that mean i don't have a kidney infection?

Yes: A UTI or urinary tract infection is not the same as a Kidney infection, or pyelonephritis. Kidney infections can be more severe with fever, nausea, vomiting, and can lead to hospitalization. But a UTI is more common with burning, frequency and urgency symptoms. Both can be treated with antibiotics.
