Knee pain: Knee pain can be due to ligament strain, meniscus injury, accumulation of fluid - many causes. He should get an evaluation. A small tear in the meniscus can be treated with rest, anti-inflammatories, and physical therapy. A large tear requires arthroscopic surgery.
