Look at them.: Nail thickness is not generally measured except by the eyeball.... Nails do vary in thickness but more commonly are thickened when infected with fungus when they develop a yellowed and crumbly feel and sometimes separate from the skin at the end of the toe. In that case thickness is not the single deciding factor. Look at a few of your friends' toes and see if you can find "normal."
