A member asked:

My right pinky toenail is growing strangely. it is growing thick and upwards instead of outward like a normal nail. it hurts a little to the touch and is slight yellow compared to my other nails. every other nail is normal. what could it be?

Over the years of micro trauma to the little toe nail from your shoes. Not uncommon to develop a fungal- bacterial infection of your nail. It is difficult to resolve but not impossible. See a podiatrist for advice and treatment.
