Breast : calcifications are common and have many causes, most benign. It is not appropriate for the technologist to comment on findings like microcalcifications. Depending on the number, size, shape, and distribution of the calcs(likely following additional magnification views), the radiologist will determine whether they are benign and can be ignored, need short interval followup, or need biopsy.
