A member asked:

I had a recent mammogram and it came back with the following. i am called back for additional imaging. can anyone help explain the report. a 9 mm mass in the posterior upper outer left breast and calcifications in the superior left breast at mid dept?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

That area is a common location for breast malignancy. In addition to having an additional imaging study, set up an appointment with a breast surgeon as soon as possible.
