Wear and Tear.: Treating pain, especially in the foot, is always so much easier when the patient can actually put their finger tip on the exact spot of the pain. When the pain descriptions include "in the area of", then solving the problem needs more focus. A hands on exam would probably reveal a generalized arch pain consistent with the beginning of arthritis, ligament strain and tendonitis. Try supportive shoes
