Arch of right foot itched terribly for 2 days. now there is a quarter size lump on the arch of my foot that is painful to touch and swelling as well in bottom of foot. causes???

Itch and lump: Itching followed by the appearance of a lump suggests an allergic reaction(angioedema) or an insect bite. These should not be very tender to the touch,however. See your Physician or a podiatrist if symptoms persist.
