Hi i have hypothyroidism and i need to know if taking adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) and levothyroxine is harmful to my body, my hypothyroidism and my ability to conceive.

Hypothyroidism: Why are you taking the Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine)? Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) can have side effects such as decreased appetite, insomnia, weight loss, anxiety, agitation, just to name a few. Uncontrolled hypothyroidism would have more of a negative effect on your ability to conceive and a subsequent pregnancy than they Levothyroxine. Would not recommend the Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) while trying to conceive unless absolutely necessary.
