A member asked:

Is it abnormal for eating kind of a lot of food to make you want to fall asleep, and how does it make you tired?

Normal: Eating a lot stimulates the "parasympathetic" nervous system which causes the body to "rest and digest".

Eating a lot: it is not unusual to get sleepy or feel tired after eating a lot as your circulation is rerouted to the digestive system with resulting fatigue and sleepiness.
