Something else: If your thyroid replacement is adequate, Hashitmoto is not the cause for your weight gain. You didn't mention where the pain is located and thus it's not possible to give you an answer. Most importantly, you need to find out why you have gained so much weight and stop blaming it on your Hashimoto's (unless you are underdosed with thyroid replacement)
