How can i prevent sticky food getting stuck in my braces?

What sticky food?: Food in general catches on braces. The best method is to use an interproximal brush under and around the wires/brackets to gently pull the debris off...You should be using this daily to replace flossing while on braces. Careful with candy/gums/gummies and other "sticky" foods...The sugar can cause damage.

Brace food: The nemesis to braces is sticky and hard food. The only real way to prevent this problem is to just not eat sticky food. Kind of a bummer but true. It's a sacrifice that will be worth it in the end.
