Ortho wax: Are your braces new? This is common. Follow the directions from your orthodontist. Use the ortho wax and place it on the offending brackets. This will help.

Go to orthodontist: Your orthodontist needs to correct this problem it usually is a simple fix. Until you can get in you can take some wax ; cover the sharp edges where your lip is being cut.
