I'm worried about white stains after braces. what can i do to prevent this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

2 things: 1) make sure teeth are immaculately clean, especially between the braces and the gum line. If you are seeing an orthodontic specialist he/she will have specific oral hygiene recommendations for you. 2) don't damage your braces which could allow bacteria in behind the braces where the "bugs" can't be removed. Completely avoid hard, sticky, and chewy foods...No cheating.
