Lorazepam: Not lexapro (escitalopram). Different drugs. You should not stop either without consulting your physician. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Very contraversial: The Lexapro (escitalopram) story is neither proven or established, and to date, the data is all anecdotal and not statistical. Like many things one can find on the Internet, there is "far more smoke than fire".. Talk to your doctor and decide how you individually might be affected.
