SSRI side effects: Chat w/your prescribing doc and tell him/her what you've noted above. There are many safe options in same SSRI family approved & commonly used to treat generalized anxiety disorder aka anxiety. It's just a matter of figuring out which one works best for you & w/least side effects (no such thing as free lunch so stay in close contact w/your doc). Also ask about cognitive behavioral therapy etc.
