I have a red area on my inner thigh with three tiny dots in a row that resemble tiny pimples. they are not open sores and are slightly itchy. insect?

Possibly: The only way to really tell what these are is to show them to your doctor so that they can ask any pertinent questions and then make a diagnosis. Without seeing them and getting some history it is impossible to tell.
