Kidney problems: Whey protein is a milk derivative. If you are lactose intolerant this will not help you build muscle b/c it will lead to bloating and abdominal pain. If you have no lactose intolerance, it is a good source of protein. Men need about 1.2-1.7g/kg/daily of protein to help build muscle mass. Creatine builds muscle but with all protein you MUST drink alot of water since it is hard on the kidneys.
