DVT: The presence of blood clots in your legs or arms is a LIFE THREATENING MEDICAL EMERGENCY. Blood clots can travel through the heart to the lungs where they can get stuck and cause bleeding into the lungs, decreasing oxygen to the heart which can cause death. If you think you have a blood clot go to the Emergency Room and and get this condition checked out ASAP.
