What cause calf pain other than dvt in a non athletic person? I have a funny feeling in my foot as well. Doctor did physical of leg and didn't feel any need to do an ultrasound for dvt. What else could be causing it?

Im a hypochondriac. When I get up from sitting down, I have a twinge type tenderness on the top of my calf. After I take a few steps/walk it off it goes away. No redness or swelling. Terrified of dvt, but just went to the doctor for something else?
