I've had elevated lipase levels after vsg surgery. gastro ordered yet more labs and an ultrasound of pancreas. i'm so scared! feedback! ?

Probably some sort: of trauma to the pancreas during surgery caused inflammation of the pancreas. Lipase turns to normal level after inflammation of pancreas goes away.
