Complicated question: Lots of labs. You are probably already seeing a cancer doc directly about this? Listen to them. If they think a PET scan is reasonable they will order it, but it may not be the best test.

PET/CT or CT: Certainly imaging is in order. If no prior CT or CT just showed enlarged spleen PET is next. Looking for something other than spleen to biopsy given the normal bone marrow. You still need a diagnosis. Your doctor is on the right path to getting it.
