Acne/period: Acne at age 19 has to do with increased hormonal effects on your skin, and in time, should go away. A "period" is a time when your sex hormones are at a minimum, and your skin may therefore "clear up". A suggestion would be to ask your healthcare provider to prescribe oral contraceptives (not just for birth control, but to lower your fluctuations of hormone production). it often helps with acne.
