Good day, i am 35 years old currently not on any contraception but my last one was diane due to my acne. last week on 25 i started my periods with terrible period pains that i felt was giving birth, took home pain pills, is this normal?

Unclear dates: Unclear how long ago you stopped the oral contraceptives. After stopping contraceptives, your body takes some time to reregulate its hormones and you may see a variety of symptoms including irregular periods, PMS, Menstrual cramps and mood swings for several months. If this is an isolated event more than 6 months from stopping contraceptives you may need to consult your Gyn Dr.
