May be: An HCG level below 5 rules out pregnancy. Level above 25 is diagnostic of pregnancy. A woman may bleed in early pregnancy. It would be prudent to repeat the level in 2-3 days, or in 3-4 days you may do a home test, use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
