A 25-year-old female asked:

My hcg levels were tested 3 times, the levels were first at 19, then at 33 and lastly at 45. all these tests were 48 hours apart. i am currently 5 weeks 3 days. is there any chance of this pregnancy going to term and not miscarrying?

Miscarriage ?'s: The series of HCG quantitative tests described at a gestational age of "5w 3d" and "48 hours apart" are very low and may indicate that your pregnancy may not continue. In another week, get another quantitative HCG , and the number should jump significantly if the pregnancy is progressing appropriately.
