NSAIDS: Are you taking anti-inflammatory meds? If not, then try ibuprofen three times daily for 7-10 days. You can buy this over the counter.

Not inflammatory: There could be another condition leading to the persistence of what is usually a self limited problem. For example, if you have a disorder of hypermobility of your joints you could be experiencing pain from dislocations at the location. Have your doctor do an examination and specifically check to see if you may have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Your doctor can screen and refer you to a specialist.
