Happy new year! i'm on a liquid budesodine for inflammation of my esophagus. i've been on it for a month now. how do i know if my inflammation is gone without another endoscopy? i feel great. isn't a month long enough on this steroid? thank you?

A re evaluation by your physician is recommended. Watch for symptoms of GERD, cough and pain. The steroid is used to control the inflammation. The dose may be decreased as tolerated if stable usually, after seeing your physician. There is a risk associated though of a flare up if the dose is lowered. Please follow up with your physician.
