How high?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, you did not state the MCV value, is it above 100? If you drink alcohol that my explain it. Your medications and thyroid deficiency are other possible explanations.
