A 41-year-old female asked:
1st cbc in 2003 my rbc was 4.64, hemoglobin 14.2 mcv 89, mch 30.7. last cbc (july 2021) rbc 3.69, hemoglobin 12.4 mcv 99, mch 33.5. last retic was 2019 result was 3.6.and tibic 378 iron, b12, folate normal. next step?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, if you are still having periods, take oral iron and multivitamins and you may repeat the test in 6-12 months.
