About 135 pounds: Congratulations on taking on a project that will teach you a lot about energy balance for life. Your goal weight should be about 135 pounds..this is close to ideal. Even if you only get to 150 or 160 you will have significantly improved your health. Eat about 1500 calories daily focused on veggies, fruits, whole grains, healthy protein and fat. Burn off an extra 300 calories daily. Goal: 1 lb/wk
