Sore throat: Perindopril (P) is an ACE-Inhibitor. P can cause a cough, usually non-productive at night. P does not normally cause a sore throat (ST). If you feel that P is the cause, speak to your physician about stopping if for 2 days to see if the ST gets better. Good luck.

Stop it: If it really does cause a sore throat, then you shouldn't take it, of course. But it's more likely to be a coincidence. Maybe you're catching a cold?
