My 16 month old had a dirty diaper earlier and part of it was black and the other part looked like clay what does this mean?

Need to check: If the baby has been eating well, has no signs of stomach ache and this is the only time the BM looks like that, it is probably no worrisome. However, he/she needs to be check by the pediatrician to make sure it is not blood that has turned the BM black. It is not very common though.
