Dr. Nguyen Nguyen
50 years experience male
A graduate of the UCLA Medical School in 1971, having completed a residency in Pediatrics at LAC-USC Medical Center in 1974, and a fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation at the Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in 1975, I had been in large group practices, first in the Los Angeles Area, then in the Torrance/South Bay area since 1988. In 2004, my wife Hanna and I took the plunge and opened a solo pediatric practice in Torrance so that I can fulfill my vision of what a pediatrician can do: Assist parents in raising their children into healthy, happy, well adjusted human beings that will contribute to their communities. For the past 10 years, I have been able to spend enough time to address the parents' concerns and advice the teenagers on how to become highly effective in life. Not every one will listen, but the ones that do and turn out well make the effort worthwhile. Of course, the rest of my time is spent diagnosing and treating episodic illnesses that keep a pediatric office busy. My wife Hanna runs the office, and has created a family-oriented atmosphere that puts the patients and their parents more at ease during their visits to the office.

A 23-year-old female asked:
No harm: A single overdose of vitamin D will nor do any harm. Do not go to the emergency room. There is nothing they would do or could do. In the future just be careful when you give your child anything like medicine by double checking the dose.
A 24-year-old female asked:
See ear specialist: You did not mention how your ear started to hurt. Do you have swimmer's ear, or cold symptoms and ear pain from the inside? Soldering optic is to relieve pain and inflammation by contact. It sounds like it has not been helpful. With swelling behind the ears, and your pain when you open your mouth, the inflammation sounds severe. You need to see your doctor or an Ear. Nose. Throat specialist!
A 22-year-old female asked:
Could be infection: A red streak coming from a bite could be a sign of bacterial infection that needs to be treated ASAP. To be safe, you should see a doctor or go to the urgent care soon, before it spreads more. If not treated, it may invade your bloodstream, which would be very serious. You did not mention how long you have had this.
