Licking lips swellin: Licking dry lips constantly causes bruising your lower lip. Other causes: allergic reaction to foods, makeup etc. herpes sores of lips causes swelling with pain. Skin disease can cause lip swelling (chielitis) sun burn, changes in temperature & Vitamin B deficiency Apply cold compress,/ apply thick paste of baking soda/ aloe Vera/ Vit E oil / use antibiotic ointment if infected. Avoid lip balm
