Possible infection: This might be an emergency. If you have had an ear infection and not had it diagnosed or treated, it may spread to your brain and cause meningitis or an abscess. Either might be fatal untreated. Dizziness can also be a result of an inner ear infection. See your doctor or go to an er as promptly as possible to establish whether these drastic possibilities are there or not.
