Depends: Teeth tend to return from their original position after completed orthodontic treatment if retaiers are not worn. I suggest you cotact your orthodontist and get his opinion on what to do for your lower teeth.

Shifting: Shifting occurs when retainers not worn as directed. Treatment to resolve your dilemma may be one arch or two arch treatment, depending on the type and magnitude of the discrepancy. Please see an Orthodontic Specialist for an evaluation. Please make sure to wear retainers as directed after treatment is completed.
