A member asked:

I have over the last year been experiencing a sharp intense frontal head pain that lasts for about a minute - it feels like a lightening strike?

Cluster headaches: You could be suffering from cluster headaches. Cluster headaches are severely painful headaches that usually occur in cycles, often at night. They are usually on one side of the head or eye and more common in men. Cycles of headaches may last weeks to months, with pain free periods lasting months to years. Does this sound like what you are experiencing?

Get checked: I would suggest evaluating the four major cranial joints, TM joints, frontal sinus at the sphenoid junctiion, and the supporting musculature for the presence of toxins or pathoges. Such an evaluation should illuminate the cause of the lightening like head pain.
