Vermox: You may need another round of treatment. Make sure that your nails are cut short because pinworm eggs lodge under the nails and are swolled when we put our fingers to the mouth. Also make dure that your family are also being treated, especially the children

?? pinworms ??: Itching has little to do with live pinworms. It is caused by a skin reaction to the glue like material in which PW eggs are deposited around the anus. That reaction, like any allergic dermatitis can cause itching until it heals, which may be weeks. Application of hydrocortisone cream to the area can reduce itching and speed healing.
