I've been treated with vermox for pinworms, last one was about 2 weeks ago. however, sometimes i still feel a slight itching, once felt a harsh one, but only for 2 secs. extreme hygiene, etc. was maintained. could there be any other reason for this?

Unfortunately Pinworm infections are difficult to eradicate and may require additional courses of treatment. If you felt itching or discomfort 2 weeks out from treatment, it may indicate the need to treat again. Talk to your prescribing Dr for next steps.
