California?: Your profile says California, but Arcoxia is not available in the USA because of safety concerns. The drug is used in other countries for arthritis and that's clearly what your doctor feels is causing your pain so a trip to the ER is not likely to be beneficial. Instead, review other treatment options with him/her.
