I have aching sore armpit at the top of the side chest bone in the hollow when i move in certain positions feels slightly swollen and the bone is sore?

Inflammation: Do you exercise or lift weight? Do you do repetitive movement involving Upper Arm? Appears you have Musculoskeletal pain/Strain. Rx Anti inflammatory like Advil/ Aleve (naproxen) etc. As long as you do not have a beginning of sore( an Abscess from Infected hair follicles) you will be fine.
