See below: I've had the best results with astelin. It is an antihistamine nasal spray and usually starts working within a day or two. The steroid nasal sprays can up up to 2-3 weeks before you see an effect. Also, Afrin works very well, but you can only use it for 3 days....any longer you can get rebound congestion. That's a lot worse than the original congestion.
