See your dentist: This description is suggestive of an infection , typically emanating from one of your molars on the lower arch. The most common locus for molar infection drainage is to the lymph nodes or to the breast on the same side. Get this checked and if it is an infection, get the infection detoxified .

Difficult to say: Exactly though could be a salivary gland issue, lymph node, or cyst. Have your primary doctor check it out.

You need a night gua: Do you grind your teeth at night? Every night? You might need a night guard to protect the teeth from the grinding forces. You might also need muscle relaxants.
You don't say how long you have been having the pain.....And did a dentist check the TMJ area.
Do you have difficulty in opening and closing your mouth.
If your dentist cannot help you may need to see a TMJ specialist.
