Ears checked?: Although the joint/bone pain is not typically associated with an inner ear problem, your other symptoms can be. A neurootologist would be the doc to see to have your ears/hearing/inner ear pressure checked. The other issue is that an endocrine abnormality or pituitary problem may be the underlying condition causing all your symptoms. I would likely discuss referral to endocrine & ear doc w/PCP.

I have been anemic for going on 5 weeks, along with leukocytosis & consistent low fever. I have terrible stomach pains in all 4 quadrants & joint & bone pain. Also, the sides of my lower back hurt the worst. All other blood work comes back normal.

40yo Caucasian male, blood pressure at 130/90, urine test seems ok. Low bone mineral density, blood tests for bone and kidney health were normal, except for low calcitriol 15pg/ml and PTH at 70pg/ml (then 40pg/ml after two weeks). Any ideas?
