Rheumatoid arthritis: You should keep in mind that patients can still have rheumatoid arthritis even if blood work is negative, especially if the disease course is relatively early. Other conditions that can present similarly include but are not limited to lupus, gout, pseudogout, psoriatic arthritis or osteoarthritis. Hope that helps!
