Recurrent scleritis, joint pains,elevated complement levels are seen in autoimmune disease. There are other specialized testing for autoimmune disease such as RNP, certain antibodies. Are you being seen by a rheumatologist? If not see one. Otherwise consult one at a department of rheumatology at a university hospital near you.

If you really have multiple episodes of scleritis, it is a big deal. With your other symptoms this is quite possibly an autominnune deficiency that needs system treatment. You should consult a rheumatologist for a definitive diagnosis. Regardless, you should see an ophthalmologist to treat the scleritis. Untreated or under treated, recurrent scleritis can be very serious and even blinding
