Losing weight: is never really easy. It takes a combination of diet AND exercise - your body will 'adapt' to the calories you consume so without exercise it will be more difficult to lose weight. That said, 'tricking' the body by giving it foods such as thin soups can ease hunger pains and provide less calories that will lead to weight loss. Fruits are nutritious and apples are a favorite I can recommend.
